RACE SERIES

The 2011 Indoor Winter Race Series will be conducted over five weeks every Tuesday from July 19th with the final night of racing being held August 16th.

The first race of the evening will be at 5.00pm followed by 5.30pm, 6.00pm, 6.30pm and the final race at 7.00pm - giving us five race rotations every Tuesday evening. That is a maximum number of thirty riders able to compete for the weekly cash prize pool and the overall Point Score Series.

The race/s will be conducted in Handicap Time Trial format with each rider handicapped by their club grade (limit riders first, followed progressively by riders in higher grades. Recreational riders will be asked to self assess according to a check list with adjustments being made if required following observation of first race).

The courses will differ each week to include a variety of profiles (hilly / flat) allowing a broad spectrum of riders to demonstrate their strengths and abilities. As each heat finishes race times will be displayed to show placings as the night progresses.

This will also ensure fairness to all - with fairness being the key to every successful race series!
