Team Bondi Fit has been operating since 1983 under Head Coach Spot Anderson. Specialising in pool and surf swim squads Bondi Fit are unashamedly the premier ocean swim, ocean fitness and triathlon swim squad in Australia.

Are You a Triathlete, Swimmer or Runner?

Bondi Fit run regular Running Squads each week covering beginner training, race preparation, advanced performance and general fitness. Whether you're preparing for a 5km Fun-Run or a Marathon or Ultra-Marathon, join one of our great runs along the coast line! If you are intimidated at the thought of joining a run squad then why not book private lessons with Coach Spot! He can teach you to run without felling like you are going to pass out by learning to run hills, improve your technique, decreasing injury risk & improve your overall run fitness!

Bondi Fit runs three weekly Surf Swim Squads with a weekly rookie surf wim squad! Master Coach Spot Anderson takes all squads & after 30+ yeras of experience he will know how to make you feel comfortable!

Weekly pool swim squads run all year round in a 27˚C heated pool at Prince Alfred Park only 200 metres from Central Station, with plenty of FREE parking in the surrounding streets! Weekly surf swim squads operate out the front of North Bondi Surf Club on world famous Bondi Beach! We train all year round #rainhailshine so we can get you going anytime!

Private lesson/small group training is available for all standards in a variety of sports - swimming, surfing, cycling, running, kayaking & SUP.

What I have learned over the years is that everyone does things differently hence why we offer the various options - squads, clinics, PT & small group with friends/ colleagues. You simply need to let me know what you want to do & I can help you reach your goal & yes I do online programs! Most people take 6(+) months to start doing what was once a great idea at the pub so stop making excuses & contact me ASAP if you think I can help!"

Since 1983 our Head Coach Spot Anderson has helped people swim, surf, paddle, run and do triathlons! He is regarded as one of Australia's All Time best & most experienced all round endurance athletes!

Quick FAQ

* Rookie Swim SAFETY standard: you must be able to swim 500m - preferably 1km freestyle non-stop. If you can't do this contact Coach Spot - we can safely look after you and do some stroke correction in a 1:1 Session &/ or swim squads in the pool.
* Experienced Surf Swim Squad 8am Saturday & Monday Sunrise Swim - we have a minimum standard of 2km non-stop freestyle (slow is OK). Tuesday is 60 mins & Saturday 90 minutes doing longer swims & chase waves when the surf is pumping!
YES. Contact Spot & be sure to mention how far you can swim (freestyle) without stopping! He will make it a fun adventureous lesson. Experienced Swimmers benefit from 1 on 1 lessons as Spot can improve your surf skills & take you out in bigger surf if you are up for it!
Stay at the back near the coach and start yourself at an easy pace! Don't worry if you don't feel comfortable in the waves at first - we think it takes 3-4 ocean swim sessions to feel like you've got good ocean skills. Be patient and try to commit to a series of squads leading up to your first swim, triathlon or race. TIP - start ocean swim training 4 - 6 weeks before goal race!
